For the limited amount of berries available, in the limited time for harvest, you will be sure of a precious gathered fruit ! It is a close guarded secret to locals, where they gather their sloes ! From grandparents to grandchildren the secret stashes are not made public, thereby protecting the secret whereabouts of the much valued sloe berries. I have a limited amount of these precious berries, which will be hand picked from uncultivated, non industrious or roadside locations, which are totally organic, full ripe and flavorsome - perfect for your wine, sloe gin or preserves ! I am not a business in this labour, it is purely a labour of love, I hate to see the fruits go unused, when they are such a rare find, that can bring a variety of goodness and flavours to many home made preserves and wines - as I make for myself !
